Apology to Prepper Gun Shop and Correction
On January 6, 2016, Occupy Democrats posted an article by writer Shannon Argueta relating to President Obama’s comments about online gun sellers. The photograph attached to that article depicted the website of Rough Rider Arms, LLC d/b/a/ Prepper Gun Shop (www.preppergunshop.com). Prepper Gun Shop is a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) dealer. Thus, federally-required background checks are performed for all guns that it sells to individuals, whether such sales take place online or otherwise. Prepper Gun Shop does not sell guns to felons. Occupy Democrats and Ms. Argueta apologize for associating Prepper Gun Shop with the January 6, 2016 article and for falsely implying in any way that Prepper Gun Shop sells guns to felons or without conducting federally mandated background checks.
