Bundy Militia Standoff Forces Schools To Close Over Fear Of Violence
By now you must have all heard about the group of dangerous militants in Oregon who have taken over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. The group, led by rancher Cliven Bundy’s sons have been camped out at the Refuge since Friday with a gaggle of other armed terrorists, and are hoping to force federal authorities to gun them down so that they can become hillbilly martyrs. While liberals have enjoyed mocking the idiots all across social media, the children who live in the vicinity of their hostile takeover are not so lucky. School has been canceled for hundreds of kids and other children are actively being put in danger as the “militiamen” bring them into the park.
Marilyn L. McBride, the superintendent of Harney County School District #3, announced that school, which was supposed to resume on Monday, will now be closed for an extra week thanks to the Bundy lunatics. She sent an email out that said “ensuring staff and student safety is our greatest concern.” The anti-government group has interrupted the education of more than 800 elementary, middle, and high school students with their armed invasion of the federal building in the rural community.
To make matters worse, the Oregonian , the ‘Murica-loving militants have brought children into the camp they set up at the Refuge. Maureen Peltier, a member of a “patriot movement” told the paper on Sunday, that “protesters are moving freely in and out of the facility and are bringing children onto the grounds.” They have said that they will not allow the feds to take back the Refuge without a fight, they are heavily armed, and are thus putting unknown numbers of children in serious danger.
It’s bad enough that these grifters have put all of the employees of the Refuge out of work, but now they have also caused kids to lose valuable time in their classrooms and put others in the line of fire. While all of this is going on, the mainstream media refuses to address the situation with the severity that it requires, acting like their demands are legitimate and legitimizing them by calling them “protesters.” The GOP claims to care about America and families, but when their own feeble-minded, merry band of anti-government “patriots” carry out an armed insurgency, they quietly applaud them and declare their support for resisting the federal government.
At the end of the day, if any children are hurt or these 800 kids are forced to lose even more time in their classrooms, the blame will lie squarely at the feet of the Republican Party. They have spent nearly a decade brainwashing their ammosexual, Obama-hating base and we are now seeing the result of their rhetoric play out live in Oregon.
